Keep this running

I'm Rhett. I built this on my own so we can watch Seattle's two water sources in one place, without ads. If it is useful to you, a Ko-fi tip is optional and helps me keep the gauges running.

Puget Sound Pulse does not sell personal information. There is no account system and no advertising network. If you choose to support the site, that checkout goes through Ko-fi and is not on this page. It is a personal tip, not a charitable contribution.

Cloudflare Web Analytics may run in the background. It is cookieless and does not identify you as a person. Cloudflare, as the host, also sees ordinary request logs (IP address, user agent) the way any website host does.

Live numbers come from public agencies and datasets (USGS, NRCS, NWS, NOAA CO-OPS tides, EPA AirNow, the U.S. Drought Monitor, and NIFC WFIGS fire perimeters). Observed tide and predicted tide are kept separate. Public CSV and JSON at /data reprint those same readings when that page is live. This site is not affiliated with the agencies or organizations it names.

This site is educational. It is not an official emergency-alert system and is not for regulatory or safety decisions. For flood, fire, or air-quality action, use NWS Seattle, AirNow, and your county emergency services.
